General Settings

Configure how PaySentinel monitors your store and handles payment failures.

Monitoring Controls

Enable Monitoring

Toggle this to globally enable or disable all background monitoring and logging. Recommended:ON.

Health Calculation Interval

Determines how frequently the system calculates gateway health scores (Default: 5 minutes). Shorter intervals provide more "real-time" data but slightly increase database usage.

Failure Recovery

PaySentinel can automate the recovery of failed payments by interacting with customers.

  • Retry Engine:

If enabled, the system will attempt to reschedule payments for orders that failed due to temporary issues (e.g., timeouts).

  • Recovery Emails:

Sends a personalized link to the customer when a payment fails, inviting them to try a different payment method.

Data Retention

Control how much data PaySentinel keeps in your WordPress database. We recommend archiving transactions older than 90 days to maintain dashboard performance. This can be configured to run automatically during off-peak hours.
